Recently while in Oklahoma City, I held a workshop at JRK Studios. There were three people in the workshop and I showed them how to make a Garden Fresh Junk Journal with a screen printed canvas panel from Canvas Corp Brands. Love the way the Spring Showers Fabric Panel looks on the cover of this Garden Fresh Junk Journal. Having the printed canvas made making the cover easy.
Below is the Garden Fresh Junk Journal Cover Tutorial. In this video, I show how I put the canvas cover together and then I add the pages using a pamphlet stitch.

A garden junk journal is a great gift for that gardener in your life. They will be able to record plantings and harvests inside this junk journal. The journal measures 8.5 tall by 5.75 inches wide and has 60 pages inside the three signatures.
Using the mini file folders from 7gypsies is a great way to add more journaling and some pretty colors to a page.
In the workshop, I shared a clever way to use an old envelope to add more writing space. When they saw how simple it was to add the envelope their minds came up with lots of ideas to use in their journals.
The digital images from Calico Collage were printed on an HPColor LaserJet Pro M281fdw printer. I used Color LaserJet Paper to get the beautiful images.
On many of the pages, I used my homemade stencils and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists to add stenciled images and color.
Having a Cricut Explore Air has made choosing and making embellishments so much easier. I started with the original personal Cricut cutter many years ago and there was a big learning curve. Now it is so simple to pick an image, choose the size and then cut.
Pages from gardening books are a great way to add color and space to add more journal cards. The beautiful images are perfect accents to use throughout this Garden Fresh Junk Journal.
Coming up soon will be a tutorial on how I made my own washi tape. Be on the lookout for that soon.
