Yes, a Napkin Journal Card Tutorial. Napkins can be used for more than wiping your face and fingers, many of the beautiful patterns can be used in art projects. Today I’m sharing a Napkin Journal Card Tutorial, using a napkin as the background and adding other elements to create a beautiful journal card.

• Cardstock punched ovals
• Tulip Glitter Paint
• No-Clog Writing Cap from ScraPerfect
• Best Cleaner Ever by ScraPerfect
• Fiskars Self Healing Cutting Mat
• Fiskars Rotary Cutter
• Olfa Frosted Advantage 6″ x 24″ Quilting Ruler – The Essential
• Brother Sewing machine
• Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect
• Distress Ink, Vintage Photo
• Ranger Blending Tool
• Distress Refresher from Ranger Ink
• Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Party Pink
• Ribbon Flower Ivory or white
• Words create on Silhouette Cameo 3

Begin by cutting the napkin to fit on the Kraft notecard from Canvas Corp Brands. Add distress ink to the edges of the notecard.

Sew the napkin on the notecard. I used a zig-zag stitch, but you could use a straight stitch or a decorative stitch.Apply Tulip Dimensional Glitter Paint using the No-Clog Writing Cap from ScraPerfect to the napkin image. I think it looks like the vintage cards that had glitter.

Using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, alter the color of a ribbon flower. I found that I can alter a white or off white flower to be any color I want. Adhere the elements to the card using the Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.
