For this Scrappy Tropical Note Card Tutorial, I decided that I wanted to make some note cards for a flip junk journal. When I’m creating a journal I like to make the note cards and other elements before I finish the journal. Doing this helps me have everything I need as I’m working.
Since I keep the items I create when playing it was a perfect item to use for cards like this. Overstamping on the piece makes an instant background for the look I wanted.
Stickers are something that I don’t usually buy, but if I find a great bargain sometimes these make it home. lol When I was digging around and found the surfboard stickers and the stamps I knew what to create!
Tattered Angels Glam is so fun to use on projects. It gives the project a shiny shimmer that brings a project to another level.
If you have been following me for very long you may have noticed that I love to add stitching to my projects. I just love the look it adds and makes me feel good about keeping that sewing machine nearby.
What kind of items do you have in your stash that you need to use up? I have so many it is hard to list them all, but hopefully my projects like this Scrappy Tropical Note Card Tutorial will inspire you.
