One Sheet Mini Junk Journal Tutorial, Day 7 of 12 Days of Junk Journal Gift Ideas. Today I share how to take a 12 x 12 piece of scrapbook paper, some gel prints, acrylic paint, and some stamps and make a mini junk journal. These are super fun to make and it would be fun to give papers to kids and have them decorate and then turn into journals.

Let’s begin theOne Sheet Mini Junk Journal Tutorial. Choose a sheet of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper, this will be the base of the journal. Collage gel prints, mixed media prints or even scrapbook paper randomly all over the page.
Apply a little bit of acrylic paint here and there to tie all the papers together.
Stamp all over with various stamps.
Score every three inches from one side to the other, rotate 90 degrees and score every three inches. Fold the paper on the score lines. Open back up, now cut down the center and stop three inches from the edge. Rotate the paper 180 degrees to the opposite side. Cut up the side score lines and stop three inches from the edge. The pice should now look like a zig-zag.
Accordion fold the paper. Adhere the pages together, leaving pockets on some or all of the pages as desired.
Tie a ribbon around the cover where the ties would be on the right side. Cut a scrap of paper about 1.5 x 3 inch adhere to the spine of the journal. Cut two pieces of paper for the cover at just under 3 inches square. Adhere the pieces to the front and back.
Select a Calico Collage image and layer on top of a contrasting gel print then adhere to the cover. You can stop there or you can add journal cards to the pockets. Wasn’t that an easy One Sheet Mini Junk Journal Tutorial? Once you get started you will make a bunch of these!
