January 28th prompt is to create a journal page based off of the word Encouragement. Write about things that encourage you or how you could encourage others.
showing you how to collage on a journal page, Linda uses a stencil with a blending tool with other supplies to create today’s journal page.
Spraying with the Radiant Red Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to alter a book page scrap, Linda applied Firebrick Red distress ink lightly with an oval brush to the January Artistic Stencil Club heart stencil to add some color to her page.
Adhering the definition of encouragement from a dictionary with Aleene’s tacky glue with an element from the Radiant Red Creative Kit. Don’t worry if you do not have the exact materials that Linda is demonstrating, there are always ways you can use items from your stash to create textures and designs to your journal pages. For example if you do not have Washi Tape, try a piece of ribbon or paint lines instead!
Using a Sharpie pen that does not bleed through paper, Linda writes about how she tries to encourage others and then shares it with us. Encouraging others is a very satisfying!
We all need encourage and to give encouragement to others! How are you encouraged?
