Shaking things up for Day 4 of 12 Days of Junk Journal Ideas 2020 Shaker Card. Today, Linda shows us how to create this using a book page, transparency film, digital images from Calico Collage and a rubber stamp.

Start out by creating the element for the frame, Linda took a book page and A Christmas Dream Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Christmas Berry to change the color of the page. she then chose two images from Father Christmas Ephemera by Calico Collage, and adhered to a black matt back to back. this will be the center of the shaker card.
Use double sided foam tape on the transparency film to create a tray for the shaker elements. Put a small amount of the Best Glue Ever on one side of the double sided Father Christmas Ephemera and allow to dry. Cut strips of the red book page and frame the transparency film along the tray. Place the Father Christmas element to the transparency film and add sequins, small beads or whatever you choose to add to the center.
Remove the backing for the second side of the foam mounting tape, then place the second transparency film over the open tray. Fold over the red book pages to close the edges.
Decorate the outside of your card! Linda used her Ho Ho Ho small stamp and punched out holly leaves adding sequins. Around the center of the transparency Linda put a line of the Best Glue Ever and allowed to dry. She then sewed on the pom pom trim.
