Sharing a Gel Printing into Matchbook Expanding Folio Tutorial. Inspired by Rachel with Roxy Creations, I decided to try my own hand at creating a matchbook expanding folio using gel prints. In this tutorial I’ll create a few gel prints and then create the folio.
Watch the video as a premier live on YouTube at 3:45 pm Central Standard Time, Monday January 31st. Hang out with others in the chat while I create.

Let’s get started on this Matchbook Expanding Folio Tutorial that was Inspired by Rachel with Roxy Creations. Get out those gel prints, rubber stamps and more to create!
Use a 4″ x 12″ strip of your gel prints to create the outside of the matchbook cover. If your page is too thin you can strengthen it by adding either a heavy cardstock or use book pages.
Adding tabs using the Find Your Wings stamps with Flower Ladies by Calico collage and a word sentiment to the accordion pockets.
Tip: when gluing your pockets together make sure to glue only down the center or your pockets will rip!
Choose ephemera like small bags that can hold small items, digital images, or small baggies that you could fill with sentiments to tuck inside the accordion pockets.
What items will you use to fill your accordion pockets?
