Another custom order to share with you today. It is a Bird Dragonfly Planner Junk Journal made for Carrie, one of the members of the Friendly Junk Journal People. She asked me to make a custom Planner Junk Journal when she saw my Dragonfly Bullet Planner Junk Journal.
Once Carrie gave me a list of themes she liked I knew what I wanted to do. Make a Bird Dragonfly Planner Junk Journal. These seemed to go together – flying things and birds could eat dragonflies. lol
The following Digital Journal kits from Calico Collage were used. Song Bird and Dragonfly Delight. I created stencils to use with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. Lots of stamps from my stash were used as well.

One of my friends gave me a 2017 Happy Planner in August. She picked up this planner on clearance and didn’t realize that it only had one month left before it was out of date. Knowing that I make Junk Journals she gave the planner to me to use.
These pages were great foundations to add other elements and I did so by adding notebook paper to one side and painted paper to the other. This created four pockets on the page to use.
One day I picked up a stamp set with months and numbers and I knew it would be perfect for a Tab paper punch I have had for years and I was right! The stamps are the perfect size to fit on the tabs so I created two sets one for the pages the other for the Monthly Calendar Journal cards.
For the cover of this Bird Dragonfly Planner Junk Journal, I used fabric I picked up that I thought would be perfect for Carrie. There are lots of positive phrases and beautiful images all over the fabric. It matched perfectly to the Song Bird and Dragonfly Delight digital images.
Making a custom Junk Journal is fun and a challenge. Getting the themes and colors that a customer wants can sometimes be a challenge but so far I’ve been very lucky that the custom orders so far have been super fun to make.
