January 4th Creative Prompt Create A Pocket for either a journal card or tag. Today using scraps, and a digital image from the Radiant Red Kit created by Calico Collage I’ll show how to make a simple pocket. Left over paint scraped on a book page was also used. Don’t throw out those bits, keep them as you never know when you might need them for a project.

The Creative Prompt for today is to Create A Pocket for either a journal card or tag. Take the journal card or tag you created on January 3rd, place it inside the pocket. You are to add another journal card or tag and write about what you would like to change about yourself or a habit you want to stop doing. Linda shows how she created her pocket using the Radiant Red Digital Kit images and scrap paper.

Using scrap paper from the Radiant Red Digital Kit, Linda adhered to the journal page and then placed the journal card she created on January 3rd Prompt inside the pocket. If you like the distressed look think about using a distress ink, Linda distressed the edges of her journal card with Walnut Stain distress ink.

Using a journal card from the Radiant Red Digital Kit Linda used her Sharpie No Bleed Pen and wrote about what she would like to change about herself this year. Sometimes, you have to really think about things that you might want to change but once you start writing words will come to you!
