Supplies used for the A Christmas Dream Mini Junk Journal Tutorial.

Grab a few book pages, acrylic paint and a couple of stencils to get started with this A Christmas Dream Mini Junk Journal Tutorial.

Apply Cream acrylic paint to a book page using an old gift card. Scrape the paint, but don’t scrape it too much or you will remove the paint. Pick a stencil and apply paint using a paint dauber in a few areas. Cut the page down to size and then finish decorating with other painted stamped pages.

A Christmas Dream Mini Junk Journal Tutorial Scrapbook paper is a lot of fun to use for a mini junk journal. Dig through your stash and see what you have that will work.  Kraft cardstock cut for a journal card and stamped with Believe is a great touch. The corner element from A Christmas Dream Mini journal finishes this side of the page.

Distress Oxide Forest Moss Ink applied through one of the September Artistic stencil club makes the back of the scrapbook blend with the other pages. Accent with one of the stamps from the Festive Cube and an image from A Christmas Dream Mini Kit.

Got some loose leaf notebook paper that you don’t have plans for in your stash? Cut it, stencil with the A Christmas Dream with Holly Leaf Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists to create a unique journal page. Use the butterfly from the kit and one of the Star Bursts Duo stamps to accent the page.

Another image from the kit decorates the left side. On the right Making the rounds and Ho Ho Ho was stamped in black ink.

Once all the pages are ready, bind to the printed covers and pages to finish the journal. Below is a look at how the journal came together.

These Mini Journals would be a great gift! Or pop one inside a larger journal to record a few special moments.

I hope that you are inspired to create using the kit, acrylic paint, rubber stamps and more.
