Did you know that you can turn Notebook paper into Junk Journal Page? Continuing on my Fairy Garden Junk Journal series today I’ll show how to take a simple notebook page and turn it into a beautiful Junk Journal Page for the Fairy Garden Junk Journal I’ve been working. Using notebook paper, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and Images from Calico Collage Fairy Garden digital Journal kit, I’ll make a beautiful junk journal page.

Notebook paper into Junk Journal Page Tutorial

Begin by trimming the height of the page to match other pages for the junk journal. I like to keep my pages about the same size. Next, score the edges so that a flap can be created. I used the width of the page as a guide. Use Aleene’s Tacky Glue to adhere the top and bottom of the flaps to the page, this will create a pocket.

Using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and a stencil apply color to the page on both sides. Allow to dry or use a heat tool to speed up the drying time.

Apply distress ink Vintage Photo to the envelope. Alter the envelope by using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and the stencil. Let the envelope dry or use a heat tool. Apply Fairy Garden images including the words. For my altered envelope, I applied glue on two edges so that this created a cute tuck spot on the envelope.

Adhere the butterfly and tuck spot to the new pockets on the notebook paper. Add journal cards and you are done!

That was super easy huh? What are your favorite images to use when making a junk journal? I’ve been having fun with the Fairy Garden images from Calico Collage.
