Continuing on the Fairy Garden Junk Journal Series. I love finding new ways to use items in my stash. For this project, I came up with the idea of Coloring book page into Junk Journal Page. For my project the page was uncolored, but a colored page can be used too! Adding images from the Fairy Garden digital journal kit from Calico Collage helped to tie it into the journal I’m making.

Super quick video tutorial on Coloring book page into Junk Journal Page.

Cut the coloring book page out of the book. I like to cut the height the same as my other journal pages. Then on one of the sides, fold over about 2 inches to create a pocket. Using Aleene’s Tacky glue adhere the top and bottom of this pocket in place.

Cut the images from the Fairy Garden digital journal kit. Use Vintage Photo Distress ink around the edges of the paper. Assemble the envelope using a glue stick. Make sure that you don’t glue the envelope closed.

Add the journal cards and envelope to the pocket and it is ready to be added to the junk journal.

Look at the things you may already have differently. Those coloring pages from the kids would make great pages in a junk journal. Have fun making your own.
