The goal is to use up all the bits and pieces for the Purple Junk Journal Page Tutorial that I can. Thought that sharing how to make individual junk journal pages might inspire each of you to use up your stash.
When I have leftover bits I try to sort by color. Using 12 x 12 clear scrapbook pockets to keep everything in order and easy to see. Before I cut a large sheet of paper for a project I look in the pockets to see if there is something I can use. Don’t want to create more scraps.
Images from Magazines and Calendars are a great source to add color to junk journals. Trim out of the magazine or calendar and use any way you like. If there is writing on the back side of the image you want, then add another piece of paper. Notebook paper is a great back and it gives you lines to write upon.
White and Ivory lace is great to have in the stash. The lace can be sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to match a project. It cuts down on having too many colors of lace that you may not use all of the time. But white or ivory lace is easy to work into a project as it can be changed.
Think outside the box when making journal pages. It’s okay to splice two pieces together to get the size you need. Remember there is no wrong way to make a junk journal page.
