- Sheet Music from the kit
- Scrapbook papers – scraps from other projects
- Distress Ink, Walnut Stain
- Blending Tool
- Aleene’s Tacky Glue
- Sewing Machine or Shabby Stitches Rubber Stamp Set
- Fiskars Scissors
- 5 x 7 Journal Cards
- Honeycomb and Wire Duo Rubber Stamps
- Gel print strip 1 inch by 7 inches
- Dictionary Page
- Jardin Bee Seal Rubber Stamp
- Archival Ink, Jet Black
- White Journal Card 3.5 x 4.5
- Purple 3 x 4 journal cards
- Stamped Butterflies – Butterfly Beauties Cube Rubber Stamps
- Scrap of Kraft cardstock
Using a page and several elements from the Day Dreaming Creative Kit, along with scraps of paper, you can create a beautiful mixed media pocket junk journal page for your journal.
Using Gel print strip 1 inch by 7 inches , the pockets were created using a Sewing Machine or Shabby Stitches Rubber Stamp Set and elements from the Day Dreaming Creative Kit
Try adding a belly band for a tuck spot for your journal cards. You can use your left over Gel Prints or scraps of paper for a layered look. Use your Sewing Machine or Shabby Stitches Stamps will give a finished look to your elements.
Try using stamps on your book pages, it will add interest to your elements that you are using. The Jardin Bee Seal Rubber Stamp is stamped on a dictionary page, and then using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool edge the page will make the image stand out on your page.
Here you will see Linda has stamped the Honeycomb and Wire Duo Rubber Stamps on the journal page and then glued the the element that was created using the Jardin Bee Seal Rubber Stamp.
Create your journal cards using the Honeycomb and Wire Duo Rubber Stamps as the background of your journal cards.
By adding tabs to the top of your journal cards, it gives easy way to remove them from the pockets you have created. Linda has chosen to use the Butterfly Beauties Cube Rubber Stamps and then glued them to the top of the journal cards.
Putting together several mixed media Gel Prints and some elements from the Day Dreaming Creative Kit to create a pocket page with lots of room to write on your journal cards.
