For those that like a video here is a video. How to make a Halloween Junk Journal Page.
This Halloween Junk Journal Page was made for a page swap inside the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group. Every month there is a new theme and we are swapping one page with a partner. The idea was that it would be easier to make one page to swap with another. But if more pages were wanted, just ask to be on the list for however many pages you want to create and swap.
The swap requirements:
1. Make 1 journal page when open measure 10.5 inches wide by 8 inches tall. The folded page will be 5.25 inches wide by 8 inches tall.
2. The page should include a tuck spot
3. At least one journal card should be included
4. Sign each page so that the new owner will know you created the page. You can sign up for specific months or take the 12 month page challenge. Please note that you must sign up each month if you want to be a part of the event.
Using the swap requirements I selected items from my stash to create the Halloween Junk Journal Page. What I found really cool was using the things that others would throw out. Like the manilla envelope from a swap, I received in the mail or the makeup booklet.
Use up the things that come into your life. Make art with these items. Take a look around your home and see what you can use to make your own Halloween Junk Journal Page.
Make sure to check out the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group. Of course, you are welcome to join the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group. The group is growing daily and we are a friendly group willing to help each other and encourage each other.
Interested in any of the journals I created? Please feel free to contact me through my Facebook Page.
Here is my shop, I have a lot of items uploaded and add more weekly.
My hope is that I have inspired you to look at those papers in your stash and make your own junk journal.
