Making junk journals is addictive. Today I’m sharing How to make a Junk Journal Cover Let It Snow. Lots of members of the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group have asked for help with how to make a cover from scratch and this is the reason for this post.
The Let It Snow junk journal made using Calico Collage – Simply Winter digital journal kit. Also used Victorian Christmas 1 inch charms from Calico Collage. This journal measures 6.5 inches by 8.5 inches with a 1 inch spine. There are three signatures each holding 6 pieces of paper or an envelope folded in half for a total of at least 60 pages if not more. It is available in my shop. If sold, there are kits available too.
Norella with Calico Collage has given me permission to make kits using her images. Since I have embellished the pages and elements it was okay for me to use them. Please seek permission from Norella if you want to make and sell kits with her images.

Once you have all the supplies gathered it’s just a matter of cutting the pieces and then gluing back together to make the journal. For the Let It Snow Junk Journal, I decided to make the cover from scratch.
While making the Let It Snow junk journal I decided I would make kits for others to make their own journal. Each kit has over 90 pieces. Lace has been sewn on the Calico Collage pages, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists have been sprayed on the pages as well. The journal cards are ready to be used and all the page are cut to the correct size.
The kits in my store, are ready for you to add your personal touches. Add some of your papers and embellishments or just make the kit as it is in the package.
