One of my local people requested that I make some smaller size and priced junk journals. I decided to make several Jane Austen Junk Journals for her shop and two others. Using the Jane Austen digital journal kit from Calico Collage and ATC cards, made it easy to put these journals together quickly. Do you have favorite Jane Austen quotes? I added a couple that I like inside each journal.

The journals measure 5 x 7 and have 40 pages in each one. The cover is cardstock with the Calico Collage Jane Austen image sewn on top. There is gold organza ribbon tying each one shut and this can be removed.

Selecting items from my stash and pairing with the digital journal kit from Calico Collage is what makes these journals so pretty. I ended up making over a dozen of these journals!

My process of making a lot of journals at one time is to go through the paper stash I have and see how many of the same type of papers I can find. Then I start cutting, folding, sewing and creating pages. I find that if I create one design for a page and then make duplicates it goes much faster than creating each journal then moving on to the next.

There are four of the Jane Austen Junk Journals in my shop. If you are looking for something special, feel free to contact me about special orders.
