The process of making this Use Your Wings Junk Notecard Tutorial begins with applying Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists to a page out of a book. I love using the stencils I made for this, as I know that each one is unique and no two will be identical.
Adding stamping with white paint on the book page makes the heart on the top pop out on this card.
Being able to attach the transparency using a sewing machine really makes me happy. I love how the stitches look.
The packaging from 7Gypsies really makes me happy. I love that they use pretty prints so that we can use the packaging in our projects too. It was perfect for a bookmark tag.
One of my best investments has been the Silhouette Cameo 3. This machine has allowed me to create so much for junk journals. Like the words and word phrases. This time I created the words with white text and a black box. Printed on cardstock and then used the Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut the words. Being able to create any phrase at any time makes me so happy!
What kind of scraps do you have leftover? How do you use the scraps? Love to hear, feel free to tag me on social media and use #useitupjuly as the tag. 🙂
