Sharing a Shabby Chic Vintage Tag Tutorial today. This is tutorial was prompted by a swap I’m doing with a few ladies. This was the perfect opportunity to use some of my 3D embellishments in my stash. Features a beautiful lady from Calico Collage digital images and more.

Supplies used for the Shabby Chic Vintage Tag Tutorial
To start this Shabby Chic Vintage Tag Tutorial cut ivory cardstock at 4 x 6 inches. Trim the corners off the top to give the tag look. Cut a page from a bible at 3.75 x 5.75 inches. Trim the corners of the bible page to match the tag base.

Spray Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists on the Bible page through lace stencil. Dry page with heat tool or allow to air dry.

Apply Distress inks around the edges of the tag base and bible page and the round image and mat. Adhere the page on top of the tag base. Layer the image, circle mat, and square fabric piece, adhering each layer.

Attach a piece of lace to the left side of the tag with the Best Glue Ever using the Large No-Clog Writing cap. It only takes a small amount of glue to adhere the lace, place small dots in the thicker spots of the lace.

Sew a zig-zag stitch around the edge of the tag and around the circle image.

Adhere the image cluster on top of the lace on the tag base. Distress the edges of the words and attach to the tag.

Use Hot Glue to attach the flowers at the base of the circle image. Create a fluffy bow with fluffy yarn and adhere to the base of the flowers.

Cut a piece of fabric about 3/4 inch wide by 8 inches long. Punch a hole at the top of the tag and tie the fabric through the hole.

Apply Tulip Dimensional Glitter Paint to the flowers and on the image. Allow the glitter paint to dry.
