Today I’m sharing a Think Pink Junk Journal that I made to give to a friend. A dear friend of my family has cancer again. She casually mentioned that she would love a pink journal and I decided to use the Calico Collage Think Pink digital journal kit to make a Think Pink Junk Journal just for her.

Supplies used to make the Think Pink Junk Journal
Since the Think Pink Junk Journal is geared towards being strong while going through cancer I decided to add a few stamps that I thought would encourage my friend.

Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists through my Lace Stencil on every page makes each page sparkle. I love how it looks like lace on each page.

Several pages of the Think Pink Junk Journal feature a calendar at the top. Circle the month and the day of the journal entry.

The page tabs I created using a very old paper punch by McGill. Spraying a piece of scrap cardstock with Tattered Angels Through the lace gave the foundation. Then I used distress inks around the edges. A bit of lace was attached using a sewing machine. The ribbon was about 1 inch long, folded in half and then sewn into place. I love how pretty these look.

I pray that my friend is able to beat cancer again. That this journal gives her a place to write and overcome her fears and celebrate her victories.
