Today I’m sharing three Natures Glory Junk Journals I made using the Calico Collage Digital Journal Kit – Natures Glory. These were fun and easy to make. Of course, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists were used along with Stamping and Distressed Inks.

What I love about the Calico Collage Digital Journal Kits is I get to pick and choose the images I want to use in my junk journals. For this set of Natures Glory Junk Journals, I decided to use the journal cards as a focal piece on the cover.

These Natures Glory Junk Journals measure 5.25 inches wide by 7.5 inches tall. Each journal has 10 sheets of paper folded in half for a total of 40 pages.

Here is a flip through video showing all three of the Natures Glory Junk Journals I made.

Using papers from my stash and things that were given to me brings me joy. How about you? Do you try to use up items from your stash?

Each cover has a page out of a dictionary, Canvas Corp Brands Canvas, Prima flower and more. My best friend gave me a couple rolls of the red mesh. I decided to make a little flair for the flowers.

My youngest brother loves to go to auctions. Since he loves going, I gave him the task to look for papers, photos, calendars and more. He didn’t disappoint when he brought a box full of goodies to me. There was an Oklahoma City Street Atlas and datebooks in the box that got used in these journals.

Because I often use hardback books for journal covers I end up with a lot of pages from the books. For this batch of Natures Glory Junk Journals, I decided to try my hand at painting pages for envelopes.

Using craft acrylic paint in, yellow, orange and purple I painted the paper. This is where an old credit card or gift cards are handy. Use the card to spread the paint in a thin layer. Then these will dry quickly. I even used a stencil for a pretty design.

The Rose stamp in the corners of several of the pages is from Brutus Monroe – Botanical Banners. Stamped the Rose image with Picked Raspberry Distress Inks.
