Today I’m sharing a new Junk Journal. It is an All Hallows Eve a Halloween Junk Journal Using Calico Collage Digital images, some images from my friend Janice, Stamps, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and more.

Since we are having a Halloween contest in the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group I thought I should make a Halloween Junk Journal. Norella with Calico Collage provided a great freebie for the contest and has also agreed to give the winner a copy of the All Hallows Eve Digital junk journal kit.

So I thought I should make a Halloween Junk Journal with those images so that everyone can see how cool these images are to use. Using these images makes a junk journal come together so easily.

For this Halloween Junk Journal, I started collecting things I already had in my stash. some of those items were stickers. When out shopping I buy stickers and then I get home and forget to use them. My plan this year has been to use up the items I have and when I found the stickers I decided I will use as many as I like.

This journal also helped me use my Cricut. I did a search of all the Halloween images that I own and picked a few to cut. I didn’t use all of these images, but I had fun with the stack of things I collected. What didn’t get used in the Halloween Junk Journal will go in some RAK packages in the next few weeks. That way I get rid of this stash!

My brother gave me a box of papers and photos he picked up at an auction a few weeks ago. It is time for me to use some of those items. Digging around in the box I found some 5 x 7 black and white photos. These became some items to add into pockets.

In this video, I show how to make the cover for the Halloween Junk Journal and how to sew the pages inside. At the end of the video is a flip through of the junk journal.

Making this Halloween Junk Journal was fun. It was cool to try a few new things, like stencils and the Cricut images I cut. Many people love Halloween and consider it their favorite holiday. What is your favorite holiday?
